The Board have decided not to implement today's inflation increase of 8.6% onto their parking charges as they understand that everyone is feeling the financial pinch being seen due to higher living costs, in view of this the Trustees have decided to levy just an 1% increase to help our tenants.
Payments are due again on 16th December 2022 when tenants can either pay for the full year or pay for 6 months with a second payment due on 16th June 2023.

Sian White - Taekwondo Silver Cup Winner from Looe
The Trust were delighted to sponsor Sian's travel arrangements to the World Championships in Slovenia, she came away with a Silver Medal.Sian a Year 10 student @ Looe community academy and competed in the VIII ITF Taekwondo World Cup in Koper, Slovenia 1-9 October 2022.
There were over 1300 athletes from 52 countries competing, including Ukraine, USA, Malaysia & Japan. The standard was extremely high. And Sian had immense pride to be participating in such a prestigious event.
Sian is now ITF World Cup Vice-Champion in sparring, having won a Silver Medal in a tough category, 12-14 year old girls +60kg’s.
This was the biggest competition that Sian has attended with full opening and closing ceremonies. Sian competed in sparring (her favourite category) and patterns. She also competed for the first time in special techniques which involved breaking a board by flying side kick and front high kick. The starting qualification heights for these were 1.00m & 2.00m.

The Trustees were really pleased to be able to support this local group who arranged for local groups to play in their very own 'mini' West Looe Music Festival in Mally's shed. It sounded amazing and well done to Mark Wilson from Route2events and Gary & Zoe from the Jolly Sailor Pub for organising.19th September 2022

The Board are pleased to have helped the West Looe Playgroup upgrading their kitchen for their younger years age group - it really needed a huge make over and now looks amazing and will benefit all the children who attend.6th September 2022

The Trustees would like to send a warm welcome to the new Priest in Charge of the benefice of Looe and Morval.He will be looking after St Martins and St Nicholas churches for us which is great news.
Our new priest is a Cornishman moving up to Looe from Falmouth.

Education Grants 2022 - 23
Each year the Trust invite Looe Children who are looking to go into further education or university to apply for one of the Education Grants that the Charity give out.
This year we have introduced a new application form.
We would invite students to complete and return the form to us before 1st July 2022 for us to register their interest in applying for one of the grants.
The Trustees are then able to consider all applications before the start of term in September when each person will be notified of the outcome of their application by email.
